David B. Richardson

David B. Richardson is an experienced attorney based in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington representing individuals injured by the conduct of others. Since 1992, Mr. Richardson has provided vigorous legal representation in injury cases stemming from auto accidents, wrongful death, brain injury, premises liability, product liability, and more. He also accepts cases involving various aspects of insurance law. Mr. Richardson’s law firm specializes in representing clients with severe injuries and helps them along their own personal paths toward physical, emotional and financial recovery, so they can get past their injuries and move on with their lives.

David B. Richardson received a law degree from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law) in May 1992 and was admitted to the Washington State Bar in November 1992.

He worked for the Honorable William L. Dwyer, United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Previously, he earned a Master’s Degree in International Politics from New York University and a B.A. degree in Economics, Political Science and Environmental Conservation from the University of Colorado, Boulder. As a practicing attorney, he stays current on personal liability law, and takes continuing legal education courses in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, and in medicine as it relates to issues facing injured people. He has also taught continuing legal education courses in Washington state.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Richardson had a career as a foreign policy analyst in the United States Congress. He also worked for three personal injury law firms during and after law school before founding his own firm in 1995.

Professional Associations and Awards

David B. Richardson is an Eagle member of the Washington Association of Justice, a network of attorneys including trial lawyers all over Washington state and beyond. He is also a member of the King County Bar Association. He has been recognized by his peers in the legal community by being named a “Superlawyer,” a distinction reserved for the top 5% of personal injury lawyers in Washington. He has also been recognized by his peers by being awarded the “AV” rating from the Martindale-Hubbell organization, the highest rating that can be given to an attorney. He is rated as “Excellent” by Avvo, another attorney rating organization, and has been named as one of the top personal injury attorneys in the Puget Sound region by Seattle Met Magazine. Since his admission to the bar in 1992, he has been a volunteer attorney at the Southeast Legal Clinic, helping low income clients with legal issues. He takes great satisfaction from helping regular people exercise their civil rights under the law.
