David B. Richardson, owner of Law Offices of David B. Richardson, P.S., is an experienced personal injury attorney based in Bellevue, Washington. Education and Previous Experience
David B. Richardson received a law degree from Seattle University School of Law and was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1992.
He clerked for the Honorable William L. Dwyer, United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Previously, he earned a Masters Degree in International Studies from New York University, and a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. As a practicing attorney, he stays current on personal liability law, and takes continuing legal education courses in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, and in medicine as it relates to his law practice. For example, he has studied accident reconstruction and spinal injury treatments. He has also taught continuing legal education in Washington.
Prior to becoming an accident attorney, Mr. Richardson had a career as a foreign policy analyst in the United States Congress. He also worked for three personal injury law firms during and after law school before forming his own practice in 1995.
Professional Associations and Awards
David B. Richardson is an Eagle member of the Washington Association of Justice, a network of attorneys including trial lawyers all over Washington state and beyond. He is also a member of the King County Bar Association. He has been recognized by his peers in the legal community by receiving an “AV” rating from the Martindale-Hubbell organization, the highest rating that can be given to an attorney. He is rated as “Excellent” by Avvo, another attorney rating organization, and has been named as one of the top personal injury attorneys in the Puget Sound region by Seattle Met Magazine. Since his admission to the bar in 1992, he has been a volunteer pro bono attorney at the Southeast Legal Clinic, helping low income clients with legal issues. He takes great satisfaction from helping regular people exercise their civil rights under the law. I also take political asylum cases on a pro bono basis.
